That is what the last 22 years of being a full time artist has felt like. I could never imagine the first time my body lay on my board and I awkwardly paddled into the crystal clear, warm waters off Waikiki beach that this would not only start a whole new lifestyle but be the seeds that would set my entire life in a new direction. No more EMT work, no more boat captain, dive master, hostess, waitress, ambulance driver.... I could finally see exactly what I wanted in life and worked tirelessly to make it happen.
