Heather I first saw an advertisement that would showcase your art in Chinatown Honolulu and thought I missed the art show. At first I thought it was stained glass and didn't realize it was paintings. Your refreshing technique inspires a youthful simplicity. My daughter loves your artwork too. Have you considered doing stained glass? I'm sure it'll do very well. My favorite is the two girls holding their surfboards on the beach "South Point." They look so much like my two daughters who love to surf, the hair coloring and posture is so similiar.

Ms. Brown! What an amazing artist you are! I brought my boyfriend to Kaua'i for the first time last week and we viewed some of your artwork in a gallery in Poipu Shopping Village. He absolutely fell in love with the vibrant colours and expressive techniques you illustrate. I was interested in learning more about your art work but couldnt remember your name after we'd left, luckily on the plane ride home I saw an advertisement for your work in a surf magazine I found on the plane and quickly ripped it out so he wouldnt see it lol. I'm so glad I found it so I'll be able to surprise him for upcoming holiday gifts! Mahalo for sharing such a beautiful talent with all of us!
Aloha~

I used to live in San Diego and I bought a print of yours at Leaping Lotus just before I moved to Portland a few months back. I had no idea you were a Hawaiian artist but I loved the colors, the way they looked translucent, your graphic style (everything!), and thought the subject matter would remind me of my sunny days living in SoCal. It wasn't until I was in Lahaina last week specifically shopping for hawaiian art to commemorate my recent marriage that I came across your work again. I was so excited! I said, hey!, I recognize that style and since I already have a piece I know I love it! I'm going to start saving my pennies to buy one of your giclees soon. Mahalo!

G'day Heather,
Saw your art in Waikiki and North Shore at the original art gallery you displayed in. I was hoping I would find your art work on my visit up there. I could totally see your inspiration and took back to Aus a print of yours which I will enjoy always! It was lovely to get out of the commercial concrete jungle of Waikiki and see the North you paint so beautifully, wish I had of taken away my paints and got into it aswell, very beautiful place! Keep up the great work!

Hi Heather,
I got to visit Hawaii last year and I was in an art gallery with your paintings. I fell in love with your style and have been a big fan ever since. I teach art to elementary students and when we learn color theory and start mixing colors I have my students make a painting based on your art work!

Hello!
My name is Emily, and I live in a tiny town in northern california... While on a trip to Oahu for my high school graduation, I discovered some of your pieces in a small gift/art shop in Haleiwa! Your work was literally the first thing to catch my eye in the entire store! I immediately fell in love with the colors and the cool geometric shapes :) Art is my passion! So, the first thing I was wanting to do when I arrived back at home was to try a few of your styles haha, I had a lot of fun with it! I'm now starting my first year of college at Chico State University and can't wait to buy one of your prints to bring some life into my itty-bitty dorm room! Good luck with your career and I hope your art continues to soar! You are already one of my favorite artists!

Aloha Heather! I am a good friend of Laura Lowman's.
So get this,,,, you will trip out.
I just started a new job and noticed in one of my co-worker's desk... she has one of your pictures up!
I recognized it right away and asked her where she got it. She starts to say, "Oh it's this great artist who lives in HI etc.. " And then I say, HEATHER BROWN?? What a trip to finally start seeing your work up and around. Especially because normally I hear about you through Laura.
Anyway, just wanted to reach out and let you know you've made an appearance at my company.
Take care.

Just returned from La Jolla, where I bought the Barrel View print at the Bird Rock Surf Shop. It reminded me of sitting out on La Jolla Shores looking north towards Torrey Pines, of course without the pier in between. Really love the work and will definitely add to my collection.
Cheers!

Hello,
Okay so I got home today and there was a package on my door step and I was confused because I didn't know an H. Brown from Haleiwa. Anyway, I proceeded to open with caution ( you never know these days) and out pops the most magnificent art piece I have ever seen:) Right then and there I realized my best friend Leilehua had picked out this piece for me for my birthday!!! I absolutely fell in love with it ! It makes me smile, gives me a piece of home and reminds me how beautiful and lucky I am to have the ocean and to be able to surf!! Your art puts me in a peaceful trance and reminds me how lucky I am to be from Hawai'i even though right now I live in San Diego.

I was so happy to get the wonderful opportunity to view your work on my recent vacation to Hawaii. As an artist myself, over the years I have become increasingly frustrated and stopped painting completely. After seeing your work, I felt an overwhelming motivation to get started again. Thank you so much for your beautiful style and absolutely amazing artwork!

Hi Heather. I went to your gallery in tokyo a few days ago and I was impressed by your pictures. I love your artwork! I bought some postcards there and put them on the wall in my room. They are so beautiful and it makes me want to go surfing! I like going to the beach and I like painting too. I would like to live near the beach someday. I am planning to go to Hawaii this coming september. I wonder if there is a gallery I can see your pictures. I am pretty sure that your pictures will become very popular in Japan!

Hi Heather, I wanna congratulate you for your art, it is incredibly beautiful and colorful.
I have been to Ohau a bunch of years ago, I spent most of the time at The North Shore, and it is amazing how your paintings transmit the air, life, energy and spirit of the place all around.
If found your artwork at Bird Rock shop in La Jolla, California, while visiting some friends, and I bought a copy of Sea Siren for a friend of mine with whom I go surfing, that looks very much alike the girl in the painting.
I will definitely help you to get known in Argentina. Over the past years more girls are getting out there and starting to surf. My first surf coach has a website of extreme sports for girls and I am pretty sure that she would be happy to publish a note about your art work if you like.
Hope to keep in touch with you.
Alaways SMILE and enjoy,life Mechi.

Heather,
While on our honeymoon, my husband and I stopped in our tracks at the sight of your artwork in the window of Wyland Gallery. We stopped in to ask who the artist was....We wanted to purchase it, but alas, it was a bit spendy for our just married budget. After we got home, we ordered 4 prints from your website, and we are so excited to get them! Your work is so unique and eye-catching. Everyone we've showed loves it as much as we do .
Keep up the great work!!
Laura
